Welcome

Those of us of a certain age will find it difficult to remember a time when our Armed Forces weren’t involved in a conflict somewhere in the World.

For those who served it’s almost impossible for family and friends in civilian life to understand the experiences undergone in our crazy, surreal occupation that is/was the Armed Forces. Whatever expectations young recruits have on joining, nobody leaves without memories, both good and bad.

Sadly, for those injured in the line of duty life may never be the same again. Not all injuries are physical. Not all injuries are diagnosed, nor understood by either the medical profession, or the sufferer. Mental trauma, PTSD, is a living nightmare like no other.

This website is the inspirational journey of how one PTSD sufferer, Scott, is managing with the aid of a very special four-legged assistance therapist called Paisley.  Paisley was paired with Scott by the Scottish charity Bravehound who support veterans and their families. For Scott this has been life changing. This website and his fundraising activities are to thank Bravehound, also to help others and raise awareness of the devastation PTSD and other mental health issues can cause.
