BRAVEHOUND ran a Crowdfunder campaign called Back A BRAVEHOUND in September and October. Paisley initiated the campaign and received unexpected support from television celebrity Carol Smillie.
We decided that we will attempt to walk one hundred miles in October. We had been training for a long time beforehand because of Scott’s physical condition. Scott’s physical injuries didn’t let us achieve a lot but, thankfully we were achieving three miles every six days. Between Scott’s medication and lots of physiotherapy, we successfully achieved our goal. Over a duration of twenty-three days, we had walked one hundred miles in aid of BRAVEHOUND and the Back A BRAVEHOUND campaign. We raised £30.00 for the charity, and we thanked everyone for their support via our social media platforms.
